<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock system of a parent-and-child type capable of restricting increase on the number of parts and costs, enabling clock adjusting work to be conducted in a short time, and improving water-proofing performance. <P>SOLUTION: This clock system is provided with a parent clock and a child clock 3. The parent clock is provided with a time signal forming circuit to receive standard electric waves, and form a time signal that can be received by a driving coil 35 in the child clock 3, and a transmission circuit and coil to transmit this signal. The child clock 3 is provided with a time counter 33 to count time based on a standard signal, a drive motor having the driving coil 35, a receiving circuit 37 to receive the time signal by the driving coil 35, a control circuit 38 to correct the time counter 33 based on the time signal received, and a time display part 36 to display time. The time signal can thus be received by using the driving coil 35, thereby the number of parts and costs can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
