Semi-rigid flat surface forming orthopaedic mattress whose ends can be raised and used on mattress of bed

The mattress is a semi-rigid thin flat surface with a central section (1) on which head and foot sections (2,3) are articulated. They are articulated by transversal hinges (4) that are made from strong supple material. Sheets of supple material cover the mattress and have different densities with the most supple on the outer surface. Intermediate sections (5) are put between the head and foot sections and the central section and are articulated on them by transversal hinges. Inflatable bladders are put on the bed mattress and under the ends of the mattress to raise them.
