DC-89 derivatives represented by general formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, (I) wherein (II) represents (III) or (IV) (wherein X represents C1 or Br; and R represents hydrogen or COR<1>), and W represents (V) or (VI). Because of having excellent antitumor effects, these compounds are useful as antitumor agents.
