PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the wrong judgment of a jam when a body power source is inputted as a sheet body is inserted to a manual feed port by providing a means for judging a jamming when a register sensor detects the sheet body at an improper timing other than input of the body power source. SOLUTION: An image reading part 4 and a sheet feeding device 1 are connected to a CPU, and various operations are integrally controlled by the CPU. The sheet feeding device 1 has a feed control means, a jam judging means, and a feed switching means. The jam judging means judges a jamming by a microcomputer when a register sensor 11 or a discharge sensor 13 detects a printing sheet 27 which is a sheet body at an improper timing. This jam judging means is constituted so that it judges the jamming when the discharge sensor 13 detects the printing sheet 27 in the input of a body power source, but never judges the jamming even when the register sensor 1 detects the printing sheet 27 in the input of the body power source. |
