PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent particles from entrering even when a burner is disposed within a fluidized bed and on a side surface and hence directly effectively execute heating by protruding an injection cylinder from a combustion chamber including a flame stabilizer therein, and constructing a cross section of the injection cylinder to be smaller than that of a combustion chamber. SOLUTION: An injection cylinder 5 is protruded on one side of a combustion chamber 1 through a tapered part 6, and a cross section (a) of the injection cylinder 5 is adapted to be smaller than that A of the combustion chamber 1 (A>(a)). When the injection cylinder 5 is positioned in a fluidized bed with a horizontal attitude or its opening end is positioned on a side surface of the fluidized bed, a length L of the injection cylinder 5 from an opening end is assumed to be L>d/tanαwhen a cross section height is assumed to be (d), and an angle of repose between particles used for the fluidized bed and a member of the injection cylinder 5. Hereby, even in a combustion interrupted state, the particles are prevented from entering the combustion chamber 1. Thus, the fluidized bed is effectually heated.
