<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of restraining backlash of a cover member and a body in the vertical direction to a small degree, and preventing inadvertent opening of the cover member at the time of hooking and lifting the cover member by a hand. <P>SOLUTION: In the case a cover member 5 is moved vertically with the cover member 5 disposed at a closed position, since a projection part 52 of a lock lever 51 mounted on the cover member 5 comes into contact with a flat surface part 34 of a hook member 30 mounted on a main body 3, backlash of the cover member 5 and the body 3 in the vertical direction can be restrained to a small degree. In the case a multi-function peripheral unit 1 is lifted by hooking with a hand by the lock lever 51 of the cover member 5, since the projection part 52 of the lock lever 51 is engaged with a hole part 31 of the hook member 30, inadvertent opening of the cover member 5 can be prevented by limiting further movement of the lock lever 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
