<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image distribution system in which streaming reproduction of a photographed image can be executed almost at the same time of photographing on its terminal side, by transmitting image data photographed by an image pickup device to another portable terminal or an information terminal through a portable terminal and a wireless digital communication network. <P>SOLUTION: The image data of a moving image photographed by the image pickup device 4 of the image transmitting portable terminal 1 is continuously transmitted to an image distribution server 2 through the wireless digital communication network after the data compression. The image distribution server 2 immediately and continuously distributes the image data transmitted from the image transmitting portable terminal 1 to an image reproducing portable terminal 3 or an image reproducing information terminal 6. The image reproducing portable terminal 3 or the image reproducing information terminal 6 displays the received image data almost without having delay time on a display by immediately decoding the received image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
