<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate and efficient method and a filling system applicable to not only powder, in particular, conventional developing agent for electrophotography but also to digital toner. <P>SOLUTION: In a highly accurate and efficient method for filling the powder from a filling machine containing the powder via a nozzle, a plurality of filling machines are used, and the diameter of a powder discharging port (the diameter of the nozzle) of a nozzle (a second nozzle) used in combination with the filling machine (a second filling machine) used in at least the filling end with reference to the filling order is set to be smaller than the diameter of a nozzle (a first nozzle) used in combination with the filling machine (the first filling machine) to be used before the second filling machine, and when the total amount of the powder filled by all other filling machines than the second filling machine reaches a predetermined value, the filling work is switched over to the filling work by the second filling machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
