<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductive thin film suitable for an electrolyte of a small fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This proton conductive thin film contains silicon at least and has a plurality of pores regularly oriented three-dimensionally. The pore size is smaller than 5 nm, and a film thickness ranges from 100 to 1000 nm. The proton conductive thin film is produced by preparing a thin film formation solution containing silicon at least, adding a surfactant to the solution, applying the solution into film form on a base board, and heating the film at 300-800°C for removing the surfactant and performing glass transition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
