PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating wave driver capable of being effectively started. SOLUTION: In the vibrating wave driver comprising a driving circuit, an exciter to be excited at a driving vibration by applying a driving frequency signal from the circuit, and a contactor brought into pressure contact with a vibrator so that the vibrator and the contactor are relatively moved by the driving vibration, the circuit is swept up from a driving starting frequency toward higher frequency for driving at initration (S1 to S4). |
