PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lead out an air electrode to the outside with certainty and ease by providing an air electrode extension part integrally formed with an air electrode as an electrode outside lead means of the air electrode. SOLUTION: In this fuel cell, one end of an air electrode 14 to be a support cylinder of a cell external surface is greatly extended to the outside of a battery reaction area. This air electrode extension part 14a can be used as a lead electrode of the air electrode 14 as it is. The air electrode extension part 14a is formed by adjusting only its length using a typical air electrode manufacturing process so that another load in the process is hardly produced. Further, the provision of a conductive material or conductive pad for the lead near the battery reaction area is unnecessary and the air electrode extension part 14a of each cell can directly be connected to a collector base material; therefore a device structure become simple and the manufacturing process is curtailed.
