PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device provided with stabilized printing quality. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, an upper case 1, with regard to a mechanical unit 3 (first structure) furnished with an open part 3b on the top surface, is freely rotatably supported by a turning supporting shaft hole 2 disposed on the rear side of the upper case 1, a turning supporting shaft 4 disposed on the rear side of the mechanical unit 3, and on the front inside of the upper case 1, a printing head holding cover 6 for holding a printing head 5 standing for exposing means is freely movingly fixed. The printing head 5 is, respectively provided with projecting parts 5a on both end thereof. Inside the mechanical unit 3, a print processing cartridge 7 is mounted. Guiding grooves 9 functions as guiding mechanisms for guiding the printing head 5 held on the upper case 1 to a specified position with regard to the print processing cartridge 7, at the time of blocking the open part 3b on the mechanical unit 3 by the upper case 3. |
