PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of fume in the event of a fire, even if a fire- resisting cable is directly exposed to the fire and to supply power for a certain time without adversely affecting the environment, and drastically decrease the insulation performance of a fire-resisting layer. SOLUTION: This fire-resisting cable comprises two or more fire-resisting, insulated conductors 4 each, comprising a conductor 1 with a fire-resisting layer 2 formed thereon and covered with an insulator 3, the conductors 4 twisted together, with a holding roll tape 6 wound thereon with an intervening member 5 interposed, and with the outermost layer covered with a sheath 7 which uses a flame-retardant polyethylene. The intervening member is made of a material obtained by blending of an olefinic resin based non-heavy metal oxygen generating compound. |
