ENCAPSULATED HIGH-VOLTAGE CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH A HORIZONTAL CONFIGURATION

The aim of the invention is to provide a three-phase encapsulated high-volta ge circuit breaker which is arranged horizontally, compact, and as low in heigh t as possible and requires as little mounting space as possible. To this end t he tubular circuit-breaker housing (11) has a connecting flange (14, 15) on eac h of its face ends for horizontally connecting a built-on housing and the control device is fixed to a mounting flange (21) positioned in the area of the outer jacket of the circuit-breaker housing. The circuit-breaker poles (41, 42) are supported on the outer jacket (10) of the circuit breaker via insulators (44, 45) and to this end configured as bushings for coupling elements (32) connected to the control device. The force travel path of a lever mechanism positioned downstream of one coupling element (32) passes vi a a deflection lever (33) arranged in the corresponding circuit-breaker pole (41). The internal structure of the above type of circuit-breaker is also suitable for mono-phase encapsulated circuit breakers.
