PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal made container capable of excellently being thined and also capable of excellently preventing contents from heating and leaking. SOLUTION: Lids 24 consisting of an aluminum alloy are fitted into the opening parts of a container main body 14 consisting of an extruded material composed into the shape of a square with a cross inside in cross section made of the aluminum alloy. Resin contents are inserted into the internal part of the container main body 14 so as to support the lids 24, the upper surface of the lids 24 and the opening part side end edge 14b of the container main body 14 are disposed on the same plane, and thereafter frictional diffusion bonding is executed by a rotary tool 28. Since heat input is little in the frictional diffusion bonding, distortion is lessened, thining is possible and also the contents are prevented from heated. Also, defects such as blow holes are eliminated and the contents are prevented from leaking. Further, since the rotary tool 28 having a column 28b thicker than the central column 14a of the container main body 14 is used, two lids 24 oppositely arranged across the central column 14a are simultaneously bonded.
