PURPOSE: A shift register is provided to reduce instant power variation generated at an operation of the shift register and electromagnetic interference owing to the instant power variation, by adjusting an operating point of time of each memory element. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of memory elements(M0-M3) shifts data in synchronization with a clock signal. A clock signal delay means(32, 34, 36) gradually delays the clock signal, applied to the memory elements, from a memory element to which the data is applied and sequentially delays the clock signal from which the data is outputted. A data delay means(30) delays the data so as to have the same delay time as the clock signal which is applied to a memory element.
