PURPOSE: An electric connector is provided to remove the incorrect connection among respective contact points in a circuit board by clamping tail parts and prevent the inclination or deformation of terminals not to be connected to the circuit board in the wrong direction. CONSTITUTION: An electric connector(3) includes an insulating element(30) having a plurality of terminal paths, a plurality of terminals(300) having clamping tail parts(301) to be connected to a circuit board(4) and received in the terminal paths, and a conductive shield(31) covering the insulating element partially, the conductive shield having a retainer(311),at least one ground arm(310) extended from the conductive shield, the ground arms being parallel to a top surface of the circuit board and coupled in retaining holes on the circuit board respectively.
