摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably control a throttle opening and suitably control the amount of air of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: A turbocharger 30 is installed in the intake pipe 11 of the engine 10, and a throttle valve 14 is installed on the downstream side of the turbocharger. An ECU 50 sets a target supercharging pressure according to a request and controls a supercharging pressure based on the target supercharging pressure, and controls the throttle opening by using, as parameters, the supercharging pressure which is a pressure on the upstream side of the throttle opening and an intake pressure which is a pressure on the downstream side of the throttle opening. In this case, the ECU 50 determines particularly whether the engine is in a prescribed transient state or not. When the ECU determines that the engine is in the prescribed transient state, it uses an intermediate target supercharging pressure between the target supercharging pressure and an actual supercharging pressure as control parameters for the throttle opening. When the ECU determines that the engine is not in the prescribed transient state, it uses the target supercharging pressure as control parameters for the throttle opening.
