ESTER TERMINAL POLYAMIDE GEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having a gel consistency applicable to materials such as candle. SOLUTION: A gel is formed by blending a polyamide based on an ester terminal dimer acid with a solvent which may be a flammable mineral oil. The resultant gel may be formed in a candle by placing a wick. The candle may be molded in a self-sustainable pillar form or may be more suitable to fill in a vessel. A solid coating may be arranged around the candle. This enforces transparency and/or stability of the gel material with oily feeling and has an advantage preventing a marking tendency of a visible finger print. The ester terminal dimer acid base polyamide may also be combined with active components such as a perfume, a colorant, an insect repellant, an insecticide and a biologically active component, and may provide a transporting vehicle of the active components.
