<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk reproducing device which removes influence of the mutual interference of the light reflected on an optical disk and reads the information even if information recorded in the optical disk is read in parallel by using a plurality of light sources, and to provide a method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a light beam output means 110 in which two or four light sources are arranged and which irradiates the optical disk 764 with the light beams at different timing. a light beam control means 120 outputting a light emission control signal for controlling the light emission of the respective light sources to the light beam output means 110, a light detection means 130 detecting the light beams reflected by the optical disk 764 in synchronizing with the timing of irradiation by the light sources and a single optical system 150 for irradiating the optical disk 764 with the light beams from the light sources arranged in the light beam output means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
