The high frequency treatment instrument for an endoscope comprises an electrically insulated flexible tube (1) inserted into an instrument passage of the endoscope, an electrically conductive operating wire (2) movable in the flexible tube, and a high frequency electrode (3) at the distal end of the operating wire. A tubular element (4) is immovably fastened on the operating wire by plastic deformation, making contact with the inner surface of the flexible tube. The operating wire is held in any position in the flexible tube by frictional resistance with the tubular element. |
