PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrel manufacturing method which can connect together a forward barrel and a rear barrel, both obtained by injection molding in a screwing way and ensure the secure matching of a decorative part, of the rear barrel, which is formed by a separate process from the injection molding, with the mating position of the forward barrel, when the forward barrel is connected with the rear barrel, and the complete barrel. SOLUTION: When a decoration is added to the rear barrel, the decorative part of the rear barrel is positioned by fitting the projecting part of the rear barrel into a recessed part of a mandrel as a fixture for decoration with the recessed part formed on the side. Further, the decoration is added to a spot which coincides with the mating position of the forward barrel, in the state that the rear barrel is screwed into the forward barrel, on the outer surface of the rear barrel, and thus the forward barrel and the rear barrel are screwed together to form the complete barrel.
