PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable hammering machine which is reduced in size, weight and cost, and attains high performance by simplifying the structure of a guide means. SOLUTION: The portable nailing machine (a portable hammering machine) 1 includes: a driver blade 18B for hammering a nail (a fastener) 6; a plunger 18 constructed integral with the driver blade 18B or separately from it; a moving means for linearly moving the plunger 18 in the direction of hammering the nail 6; and a guide means for guiding the linear movement of the plunger 18 caused by the moving means, wherein the guide means is constructed by a linear rail 21 covering a part of the plunger 18.
