<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent stain due to scatter of developers on the outside of an image forming device which uses a rotary developing device having a plurality of developing units. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises the rotary developing device D having a rotatable developing unit supporting member H and a plurality of developing units Dk, Dy, Dm, Dc and a fixing device T arranged under the developing device to heat and fix a toner image transferred to a recording sheet S. The developing device D and the fixing device T are arranged so that heat discharging/developing unit attaching/detaching space Sb21 is formed in space which is the opposite side of an image carrier 16 of the developing device D and over the fixing device T and a developer storing tray 48 is arranged under the space Sb21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
