<p>A method and apparatus for processing the break of the connection based on the charging and transmitting protocol. The method includes that: determining whether the first Diameter relay and the server or the client are reachable to each other; if the first Diameter relay and the server or the client are unreachable to each other, sending a notification message to the neighboring nodes of the first Diameter relay, the notification message includes that the first Diameter relay and the server or the client are unreachable to each other, so as to notify the neighboring nodes that they would no longer send the message to the server or the clientthrough the first Diameter relay. The technical scheme provided by the embodiments of the invention avoids the phenomena of sending a great deal of message repeatedly in the network during the time that the Diameter relay and the server or the client are unreachable to each other, and saves the transmitting resource of the network.</p> |
