PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 2-azatriphenylene-containing compound that can advantageously be used in OLED.SOLUTION: The compound containing 2-azatriphenylene is provided. In particular, a compound containing a 2-azatriphenylene core having an additional aromatic group is provided. The compound provided may be a luminescent or nonluminescent material. The compound may be used in an organic light-emitting diode, particularly as a host material, a hole blocking layer material or a light-emitting dopant. The device including the 2-azatriphenylene-containing compound can exhibit improved stability and efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
