PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can properly and easily adjust the pressing force of a thermal head with respect to the printing medium width direction.SOLUTION: A printer includes a plurality of pressing force adjustment units having pressing parts for pressing a printing head against a platen roller and width direction adjustment means which can adjust the movement position of the pressing parts in the printing medium width direction. The width direction adjustment means includes a shaft which pivotally supports the pressing parts and a fixing part which fixes the pressing parts moving in the printing medium width direction along the shaft to the shaft in the printing medium width direction. Consequently, the movement of the pressing parts capable of adjusting pressing force can be adjusted in the width direction of the printing medium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
