PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for measuring fine bubbles, which can measure a size distribution of fine bubbles in the range from several nanometers to several tens of micrometers with high accuracy without being affected by the bubble concentration, the optical transparency of liquid, or the refractive index.SOLUTION: A pair of electrodes one of which is connected to measurement equipment and the distance between which can be changed are arranged in liquid containing fine bubbles. Interacting force between the fine bubbles which occur when the distance is changed while an electric field is generated is measured by the measurement equipment. A size distribution of the fine bubbles is obtained by differentiating the measured interacting force with respect to the distance.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
