PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alloy steel powder for powder metallurgy where mechanical properties of a component by sintering a press molded article of a powder thereof, further carburizing, hardening and tempering has tensile strength, toughness and sintering density equal to or more than a Ni added article even that it is a component containing no Ni.SOLUTION: There is provided an Fe-Mo-Cu-C-based alloy steel powder for powder metallurgy containing, Mo:0.2 to 1.5 mass%, Cu:0.5 to 4.0 mass%, C:0.1 to 1.0 mass% and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and having average particle diameter of iron-based powder of 30 to 120 μm and average particle diameter of Cu powder of 25 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
