PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy wire rod combining high tensile strength and excellent vibration resistance in addition to bending fatigue resistance or the like.SOLUTION: Provided is an aluminum alloy wire rod having a composition containing, by mass, 0.10 to 1.00% Mg, 0.10 to 1.00% Si, 0.01 to 1.40% Fe, 0 to 0.100% Ti, 0 to 0.030% B, 0 to 1.00% Cu, 0 to 0.50% Ag, 0 to 0.50% Au, 0 to 1.00% Mn, 0 to 1.00% Cr, 0 to 0.50% Zr, 0 to 0.50% Hf, 0 to 0.50% V, 0 to 0.50% Sc, 0 to 0.50% Sn, 0 to 0.50% Co and 0 to 0.50% Ni, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities, and in which the area ratio of the region in which the angle 13 between the longitudinal direction 11 of the aluminum alloy wire rod 15 and the<111>direction 12 of the crystals 14 is within 20° being above 65%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
