<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal in which usability can be improved while suppressing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: An operating frequency is changed in accordance with a residual amount of a battery or elapsed time from finish time of an application in the portable terminal.
