[Solution] A photoelectric conversion element and a dye-sensitized solar cell in which the photoreceptor layer has semiconductor microparticles supporting a ruthenium complex dye represented by formula (1); a ruthenium complex dye represented by formula (1); and a dye solution containing the dye. RuL1L2SCN(1) L1 represents a specific terpyridine ligand, and L2 represents a bidentate ligand represented by the following formula (L2). G1 represents one of formulae (G1-1) to (G1-3). G2 represents formula (G2). R1 to R6 and R8 represent a hydrogen atom or a specific substitution group. R7 represents a specific substitution group. m represents an integer of 1-3 and n represents an integer of 0-2. X represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, NRf, a selenium atom, CRf 2, or SiRf 2. Rf represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, or an aryl group. ＊represents a bond section. |
