PURPOSE:To reinforce an NBI device and structures with a furnace so as to be able to disassemble and repair them by connecting adjacent coils via wedges and supports unified in a body in the peripheral direction of the coil in the superconducting coil of a tokamak nuclear fusion device. CONSTITUTION:Toroidal coils 1 are arranged radially with respect to the device center 2. Between the coils 1, 1 arranged in a truss shape, a wedge 5 and an intercoil support 6 are unified in a body, inserted over the entire circumference in the peripheral direction of the coils and connected with an He vessel 13 for the coils surrounding a conductor 12. Thus, two vessels 13 are unified in a body via the wedge 5 and the support 6. Connection among the vessel 13, the wedge 5 and the support 6 are performed strongly by means of keys, bolts and welding, etc. In this way, a toroidal coil that is strong in strength against electromagnetic force of expanding forces 3 and overturning forces 4 can be obtained without hindrance against disassembly and repair of a neutral particle incidence heating device (NBI) installment and structures within the furnace. |
