PURPOSE:To maintain excellent temperature distribution in a room by utilizing combined effects of a control panel and an auxiliary plate as well as the attaching effect of a flow on a guide wall to obtain a large deflection angle with a little decrease of the amount of air flow. CONSTITUTION:A flow direction controller comprises; the first 13 and the second 14 guide walls facing each other and becoming gradually wider apart in the direction of an air flow, a controller panel 15 rotatable on an axis 16 which controls the attachment of the flow on both of the guide walls 13, 14, an auxiliary plate 17 rotatable on an axis 18 provided as a part of at least one of the guide walls, and a linking mechanism 20 which rotates the auxiliary plate 17 in the same direction as the controller panel 15 when the tilt of the controller panel 15 is within a certain angle, and rotates the auxiliary plate 17 in the opposite direction to the controller panel 15 when the tilt of the controller panel 15 exceeds a certain angle. |
