PURPOSE: To improve the braking safety by regulating the opening operation of a trailer braking system when a failure is generated in the regulation by the control signal in response to the braking operation demand signal, and supplying the backup control pressure to regulate the supply of the pressurized air. CONSTITUTION: A trailer brake valve to regulate the pressure in a service line of a trailer in response to the brake operation demand signal from a brake pedal and to supply the pressurized air to a supply line, is provided with a valve housing 40 having a main air suction port 42, a backup air suction port 44, a trailer supply communication port 46, a trailer service connection port 96, etc. A relay piston 50 is equipped in the housing 40, and connected to a large diameter piston 54 by screws, and a piston 60 to be urged to a valve seat 58 side by a spring 62 is externally fitted to the relay piston 50. Suction and discharge solenoid valves 90, 94 are connected to a control chamber 92 on a top surface of the piston 60.
