摘要 The semi-electroconductive glaze is applied in electrical engineering and construction. More specifically, it is additionally used to glaze the relevant sections of porcelain high voltage insulators in order to decrease static electricity. It provides increased productivity and stability of the colouring. Its synthesis makes use of a waste material, fly-ash from the electric filters of thermal power plants (TPP), and decreases the quantities of feldspar, quartz and clay materials via their replacement with ashes. The semi-electroconductive glaze consists of in %: feldspar material 12 - 26; clay materials 3 - 7; dolomite 2 - 5; quartz sand 10 - 15; porcelain crush 1 - 6; zirconia 6 - 8; zinc oxide 1 - 3; titanium dioxide 1 - 4; di-chromium trioxide 1 - 5; iron trioxide 13 - 14; and fly-ash from the electric filters of thermal power plant (TPP) 20 - 40.
