ROTARY BROOM ASSEMBLY of the Invention A rotary broom assembly utilizes a metallic bristle receiving base provided with a plurality of holes therethrough. A plurality of thermoplastic bristles are inserted through the holes with the inserted ends of the bristles heated to a softened state and then impacted, so that the softened thermoplastic flows and forms a retaining button on the underside of the base member and a flange on the upperside of the base member to provide an anchor for the tuft when the end portion resolidifies.
