THERMAL TRANSFER IMAGE RECEIVING MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent the blurr of a transfer image with the elapse of time and to obtain high transfer density by adding a compound having an ester or amide bond group in its molecule and a tricyclodecane skeletal to an image receiving layer or the layer adjacent thereto. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer image receiving material wherein at least one image receiving layer receiving the dye transferred from a thermal transfer dye donating material at the time of heating to form an image is provided on a support, a compound having an ester or amide bond group in its molecule and a tricyclodecane skeletal is added to the image receiving layer. This compound is added to the image receiving layer or the layer (e.g. a surface protective layer or the intermediate layer provided between the image receiving layer and the support) adjacent thereto but especially pref. added to the image receiving layer.
