PURPOSE:To prevent production of a code error in a demodulation signal of own polarized wave side by initializing each tap coefficient of a filter with a reset signal when other demodulation signal is leaked to one demodulation signal of one of two orthogonal polarized waves at the outside of a tap of a transversal filter. CONSTITUTION:A reset control circuit 108 is added to a conventional cross polarized wave interference elimination device. An error information signal in an output from a subtractor 105 is fed to an input terminal 21 of the circuit 108 and a polarity signal in an output of an A/D converter 104 at a different polarized wave side is fed to an input terminal 22. The level at an output terminal 23 of the circuit 108 goes to 0,1 depending whether a delay of a different polarized wave signal is at the inside or outside of a tap of a transversal filter 106. When the level is logical 1, a tap coefficient of the filter 106 is initialized to keep the state. When the level is logical 0, the reset is released and the automatic compensation of the cross polarized wave interference elimination device 11 is restarted. |
