PURPOSE:To prevent hot air of which temperature is decreased under a humidifying action from being directly struck against an occupant in a room by a method wherein a hot air blowing port is provided with a branch guide for use in blowing the blown hot air toward an indoor upper part and a floor, and the branch guide has a humidifying function for a hot air blown toward the indoor upper part. CONSTITUTION:Main body 1 of an air-conditioner is operated for its heating operation. When hot air is blown into a room through this heating operation, the first air blowing adjuster plate 17 is rotated up to a position where the blown hot air is directed toward an indoor floor, forwardly and downwardly. In turn, the second air direction adjuster plate 18 is rotated to a position where the blown hot air is directed substantially in the horizontal direction toward the indoor upper part. The hot air is blown from the first air blowing port 15 toward the indoor floor and then the hot air is blown from the second air blowing port 16 toward the indoor upper part substantially in the horizontal direction. In turn, humidified water 21 in a water storing tank 19 is sucked into a humidifying plate 2 and wets an entire surface of its top surface 20a, so that the entire surface is brought into contact with the blowing hot air passing through the second air blowing port 16 and then the hot air is humidified. At this time, the blown hot air from the blowing port 16 is slightly decreased in its temperature and the air is fed at the indoor upper surface, so that a cold air feeling may not be given to an occupant in a room. |
