<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize the position and posture of the head body of the sliding type magnetic head for magneto-optical recording even when the magnetic head receives external force, such as vibration and impact, while the head is not used. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head has the head body 12 having a sliding part for sliding in contact with a recording medium, a leaf spring material 14 which supports the head body 12 and a fixing body 15 which fixes one end of this leaf spring 14. The head body 12 is provided with a detaining part 27 which is detained in a stopper part extending from the fixing body 15 and is used to stop the leaf spring 14 in the position where prescribed restoring force remains and to maintain the posture of the head body 12 while the head is not used.</p> |
