PURPOSE:To provide an original reading mechanism in a recorder at cost as low as possible. CONSTITUTION:In the lower part of the main body 10 of the recorder, an approximately horizontal paper refeeding path 31 passing through a both side printing carrier path 27 to a recording part R is provided. The second cassette 32 of a spare feeding part 34 is provided on the left end side of the paper refeeding path 31 and the sub paper ejecting tray 35 of a spare paper ejecting part 37 is provided on the right end side. Carrier rollers 38 and 39 are provided in the middle of the paper refeeding path 31 and an original reading part 40 is provided between the carrier rollers 38 and 39. Then, at the time of reading an original, the original is set at the second cassette 32, is sent out by rotating a paper feeding roller 33, is carried through the paper refeeding path 31 by the carrier rollers 38 and 39, is read by a scanner 44 when it passes through the position of the original reading part 40 during the carriage and then, the original is ejected on the sub paper ejecting tray 35 by a paper ejecting roller 36. |
