PURPOSE:To provide a communication method capable of accelerating a communication speed for which a processing is easy by transmitting one command by one packet. CONSTITUTION:First and second VTRs 30 and 40 and an LDP 50 are provided with a D2B communication CPU and a buffer group respectively corresponding to the D2B communication processing CPU 9 and the buffer group 15 of an AV center 100 and transmit and receive headers, the commands, requests and OSD data, etc., through D2B control lines 21. Then, one piece of command/data from a master equipment to a slave equipment is completed by one packet. One piece of the command data are transmitted in an unlock mode and the slave equipment which receives the command returns a status in a master transmission mode, however, does not return a response when the data are received. In this case, the master equipment is one of the AV center 100, the first VTR 30, the second VTR 4O and the LIMP 50 and the slave equipment is one of the AV center 100, the first VTR 30, the second VTR 40 and the LDP 40. |
