PURPOSE:To properly control the flash light emitting quantity for a focused object even in the case of freeze-photographing after focusing in a TTL camera by constituting the camera so that flash light may be preliminarily emitted immediately after focusing. CONSTITUTION:The quantity of light emitted by a flash 15 is decided after preliminarily emitting light and receiving the light reflected from the object by a photometric element and calculating the integration value. In order to accurately decide the flash light quantity for the main object which is made in a focused state, it is desirable to preliminarily emit the light just after focusing. Then, in the case of a one-shot AF, the light is preliminarily emitted after the photometry switch S1 is turned on and just after detecting the focus. In the case of a continuous AF, the lens is driven so as to obtain a focused state many times whenever the divergence of focus causes, and if the light is preliminarily emitted every time it causes, the energy must be uselessly consumed, then, the light is preliminarily emitted only after the release switch S2 is turned on. |
