<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove generated water from an air electrode layer. <P>SOLUTION: This current collecting plate is formed of a foamed sintered metal having a plurality of foamed pores 61 of a size allowing the pass of air, which are opened toward the air electrode layer 3 (oxidizer electrode layer), and mutually communicate in the direction of passing air (oxidizer gas) along the surface 3a of the air electrode layer 3. A framework 62 constituting each foamed pore 61 has intergranular pores 62b of a size capable of sucking water generated on the air electrode layer 3 side by capillary phenomenon, which are formed among the metal powders 62a of the foamed sintered metal to communicate with each other, and opened to the air electrode layer 3 side and each foamed pore 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
