PURPOSE:To provide a fiber interlacing device for a web designed to improve the tensile strength of nonwoven fabric by water jet via several nozzles from above on the arch-shaped traveling path of a net conveyer and by spraying the water in various angles on the web to interlace the fibers comprising the web. CONSTITUTION:In interlacing the fibers of a web, the web A is transferred from an upstream conveyer 14 to an endlessly revolving net conveyer 11, water is jetted via several nozzles 12 arranged in a row just above the conveyer 11 traveling in an arch-shaped way on the carrier side, and the water is thus sprayed in various angles on the fibers comprising the web A to interlace the fibers followed by bringing the web A to a down stream conveyor 15 where the web A is dried. During the above-mentioned spraying, the water jetted is put to suction by suction boxes 13 arranged so as to face to the nozzles 12 below the arch-shaped traveling path. |
