PURPOSE:To enhance durability of the titled filler by providing a layer of elements or these compd. of group IVb of the periodic table excepting Si on the surface of silica gel and depositing compd. forming a complex with the transition metallic ions thereon. CONSTITUTION:A thin film of elements or these compd. of group IVb of the periodic table excepting Si adsorbed by sputtering or the like on the surface of silica gel having 1-100mum particle diameter and 10-2,000Angstrom distribution peak of pore diameter. Then a ligand exchange type silica gel filler is formed by allowing compd. forming a complex with the transition metallic ions to react via a coupling agent and depositing it on this film. As the compd. capable of forming the complex with the transition metallic ions, amino acid or its transition metallic salt having optical activity or optical inactivity is used. |
