Load control for screw compressor

The load control of a screw compressor with an axial slider parallel to the rotor works as follows. First, the control deviation is determined, the actual value being outside the neutral zone. Then the position of the slider is measured and finally the slider position is changed by a given amount. This amount is defined according to the control deviation and the slider position. The amount is smaller for higher load regions. The amount is about a twentieth of the total adjustment range.
