<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce defects such as corrosion, unnatural adhesion between elastomer and metal, electricity and heat conductivity, and high density, and such defects that the sliding path is heavy and high in manufacturing costs in a weather strip forming a sliding path for an automobile window using a metal reinforcing material. <P>SOLUTION: This weather strip forming the sliding path for the automobile window comprises at least one fixing part F in a form of a groove-sectioned clip 10 suitable for engagement with a flange 7 of a frame of a window opening of the automobile; and a supporting part E suitable for sliding contact with a sliding window glass V.
