<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic foamed roller having specific-sized cells arranged at fixed intervals, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the elastic foamed roller. <P>SOLUTION: In the elastic foamed roller, several cell arrays wherein circular cells whose opening end diameter is 0.1 to 1mm, elliptic cells or polygonal cells more than triangular cells are arranged at intervals of 0.05 to 1mm in the axial direction of the roller or in an angle direction of ≤ 75° with reference to the shaft of the roller are arranged on the roller surface, and also, a distance between adjacent cell arrays is 0.2 to 3mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
